The morning I arrived at Melody and Jared’s destination wedding at Levyland Estates, in Carlsbad, California, the first thing I saw were the flowers; Hundreds of peonies, ohhhh the lovely white and pink peonies! As I marveled her wedding filled with personal details: a Polaroid station, balloons that spelled “hooray”, Instagram #’s & candy everywhere, I remembered, “Oh, this is Melody, all Melody.” So creative, organized, & the kindest girl you will ever meet.

I have had the pleasure to get to know Melody and Jared over the past two years through photographing their engagement photos {wine bar + jcrew-inspired engagement session} and I photographed Melody’s Boudoir shoot as a surprise for Jared. They are the nicest & coolest couple with whom you will want to kick back and hang out with.   And, so thoughtful and kind!

So, when it came time to seeing them exchange their vows, of course this girl {me} shed some tears. So did they. And so did everyone else. It was moving to see so many people adore them & their love for each other. And, it made me love them that much more.

Melody and Jared, I am touched by all of the kindness you have shown me over the past 2 years, and I am so happy for you and your new life together. I am honored to have documented this time in your lives!  xoxo, Patty
